This checklist was designed with those questions in mind:
*Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages.
*Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at our shop and ask that the insurance company inspect the car here.
*You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal.
*You have the right to go to the repair shop or your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.
*Difference in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you're not sure why one estimate is different from another you've received, please ask us.
*Choose a shop that has unibody repair equipment and certified (by I-CAR or ASE, for example) technicians.
*Ask if the shop will be using genuine manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts.
*Ask if the shop offers a repair warranty.
*Let us help you negotiate your claim with the insurance company.

FUEL SAVING TIPS FROM THE CAR CARE COUNCIL
Keeping up with regular vehicle maintenance can improve gas mileage by an average of 4.1 percent. Results may vary depending on the kind of repair and how well it is performed. -->
An air filter clogged with dirt, dust and bugs chokes off the air and creates what is called a "rich" mixture, which both wastes gas and causes the engine to lose power. Replacing a clogged air filter can improve gas mileage by as much as 10 percent.
A vehicle can have either four, six or eight spark plugs, which fire as many as 3 million times every 1,000 miles, resulting in a lot of heat, electrical and chemical erosion. A dirty spark plug causes misfiring and that wastes fuel. They need to be replaced regularly.
